Long time follower and due for a contribution to this great forum.
While shopping for another Panasonic DECT phone ($23.50), I came across this TG9343T w/ 3 handsets for $51.50 or Optional handset TGA930T for $15.50. These units can handle up to 6 handsets.
No longer on Staples website so this is an INSTORE ONLY!!!
Best price I found for the set was ~$95 using Google/Yahoo shopping search engine.
Best price for the Optional handset was ~$30.
Another way to look at this is if you can find the 3pc set and the optional handset, you’ll get the same as the TG9344T for $67 instead of the $120.
This is YMMV as it’s clearance. I bought the first set a few days ago thinking it was only one store. Turns out that 2 other stores had them. Hope it’s not just regional. May not be the absolute best price compared to other manufacturers but in my personal experience, Panasonic is one of the leaders with regards to sound quality and reliability.
Almost forgot, the phone has an alarm clock that replaced my old phone and clock. Cleaned up the appearance of the night stand. Also, having the ability to annouce audibily the incoming caller is a very nice plus saving needless run to the phone to read the caller ID.
