This is a great price for a preamp that has balanced outputs (7.1) and balanced inputs (2-channel)….if you don’t know what those are then quite honestly, this product probably isn’t for you. This is NOT a receiver, and doesn’t have amps built-in. All this does is process your signals and send them out to a separate amp/amps. But for what this is (all of the HD formats and balanced outputs), this is a steal. This is a refurb but comes with one year parts and labor warranty through Onkyo. I’m not sure what shipping is, but this is wayyy below retail price.
