My rate just reverted back to $60 a month for Comcast basic high speed internet.
Being the ever faithful Fat Wallet fan I called 1-800-COMCAST and stated that I wished to
cancel my internet service. When the service rep asked why I wanted to cancel I stated
that I was not paying $60 a month for internet service. She immediately offered me their Blast!
service for $39.95 plus tax a month locked for 12 months. Blast! boasts download speeds
of up to 16Mbps.
I know you will never see this speed but I thought it was worth not going through the trouble
of switching to DSL.
I’m in the Houston service area, YMMV.
