The federal government’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gives the 2008 model a top safety rating of five-stars for driver and passenger protection in frontal crash tests, a five-star rating for front seat occupant protection in side crashes, and four stars for rear seat occupant protection in those crashes. It gets a four-star rollover rating as well.
